SP10 - Package #2 - and a random FO
Quick housekeeping - or blogkeeping? - Somehow, I turned off my comments last week - they are back again - so comment away!
Now...to the good stuff...
Earlier in the week, I got a cute postcard from my SP10 Pal from her trip to California - to the JellyBelly place. How fun!! Sounds like you had a great trip!
Then yesterday, I got a nice surprise in the mail in the form of this:
I got a book "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kidd with a bookmark that, if I don't use as a bookmark, I can plant it and it has seeds embedded in it. (We all know my luck with plants - so we'll probably have a bookmark for years to come! HA!), some Nestle Smarties candies, a cute little heart-shaped slinky toy, two skeins of Regia Plus Cotton Color in light denim and khaki colors - these will be great for summer socks and will look great with jeans! - and a vintage sock pattern book!
Thanks, Secret Pal!!
In FO news, I finished the Horcrux Socks I was working on - using the Cleckheaton Tapestry 8-ply yarn.
I swear - they look obscene - but they fit like socks!! So, I declare them socks!
I enjoyed making them - and hope their recipient will enjoy them, too.

I'm so glad you like your package! It's kind of funny that the post card arrived so closely before... like a herald. :)

OK - what is it with the p@*is socks? I get those from time to time as well - he he - I almost feel bad taking a picture of them. Sock porn - for sure.
